We pride ourselves on our highly personalised service, and the individual time and attention we give to each bride. For this reason, bookings are essential to view and try on our collection. You can book online or give us a call.
Our appointments run for 1 hour. This gives you plenty of time to have a good look around and try on some of our wedding dresses. We will do sketches of your favourites and give you quotes at the end. If you need to come in for a second appointment to make your final decision, that is no problem at all. Sometimes you need time to think over the big decision.
We can accomodate up to 5 people for your appointment. We understand it is important to have all your favourite people present
We have a range of sample gowns from 8-16. However, regardless of your size, we have tricks up our sleeves to show you all gowns, regardless of your size and we encourage all shapes and sizes. We also have a flare for what will suit your body shape, as we have been doing this for a very long time!
We require 8 months to order in and fit your wedding dress to perfection. In some cases, we can do rush orders at a cost of $250 however it depends on the time of year. So, even if your wedding is very soon, it’s always worth giving us a call, we can often help.
The price of your gown includes your chosen dream dress, closely ordered to your current measurements. We have an in-house alterations service so you will leave our shop with a perfectly fitting gown.
50% Deposit payment is required upfront at the time of placing your order. The next 50% is due at your measurements appointment. For more information on our payment plans, please speak with Sharyn at hello@thebridehouse.com.au
Yes. With our in-house alterations service (literally on-site!) you will be completely looked after with any adjustments to the hem or other design features for your dress.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept a return or exchange on any made-to-order item due to the customised nature of these items. Since these items are specifically crafted to your unique specifications, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once the order has been processed and completed. We offer a 7 day cooling off period for your gown choice.
We completely understand that life happens! Our team will do our best to work with you and adjust your gown as needed. However, please note that significant weight loss may require more extensive alterations, and in the case of pregnancy, there may be limitations to what can be achieved depending on timing and gown style. We’ll guide you through the best options with care and expertise.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a return or refund of a made to order dress due to change of mind, if circumstances change or if your wedding is cancelled. If we haven’t started your dress, you are more than welcome to change your order, but we cannot refund. We cannot refund you if you feel that your dress does not suit you, as this dress was made specifically for you.
